About Katie Cavanagh

I find practicing yoga to be the time when I am most present in my mind, and my mind is most present in my body. I teach in the hope that I can provide that aperture for others.

My classes are an exploration of alignment and breath. We’ll focus on presence in the body and the room, with an atmosphere of compassion. I teach Yin and Restorative yoga, Hatha and Vinyasa, for all levels of experience and for bodies of many shapes and sizes. I completed my 200 hour training at Jaya Yoga in Brooklyn.
